Up and building in 5 minutes
There are two jars. Pick the one that matches how you play — the chooser below takes ten seconds.
Which one do I need?
Requirements
- › Minecraft: Java Edition — Bedrock isn't supported
- › Paper/Spigot server 1.21.11–26.2 (plugin), or Fabric 1.21.11 (mod, needs Fabric API)
- › ~2 GB RAM is plenty; no GPU needed
- › On a server, install it once — players join from a vanilla client with nothing installed
- › “Allow Commands” enabled, or operator (level 2) on a server — /bm places blocks
- › Any game mode — creative is not required, only commands
Paper / Spigot server — players need nothing
Install it once, server-side. Everyone joins from a vanilla client with nothing to download, and anyone with operator (or the buildmancer.build permission) can run /bm.
- 1Download
buildmancer-paper-0.2.2.jar. - 2Drop it into the server's
plugins/folder. No other plugins or dependencies needed. - 3Restart the server. Make sure it can reach the build service over HTTPS.
- 4Op a builder (
/op you) and run/bm a cosy cottage, looking where you want it.
Singleplayer / client
- 1Run the Fabric installer and create a profile for Minecraft 1.21.11.
- 2Download
buildmancer-0.2.2.jarand Fabric API. - 3Drop both
.jarfiles into.minecraft/mods/(or your instance's mods folder). - 4Launch the Fabric profile. Create a world with Allow Commands turned on (or op yourself). Any game mode — creative isn't required.
- 5Type
/bm a cosy cottageand look where you want it built.
Fabric server (players need nothing)
Commands are server-side, so only the server needs the mod. Anyone with operator/level-2 can run /bm from a vanilla client.
- 1Use a Fabric server for 1.21.11. Paper / Spigot / Bukkit can't load Fabric mods — use the plugin above instead.
- 2Put
buildmancer-0.2.2.jar+ Fabric API in the server'smods/. - 3Make sure the server host can reach the build service over HTTPS.
- 4Restart, op a builder (
/op you), and run/bm ….
Commands
/bm <request>Design and build something where you're looking./bm place <thing>Drop a single learned prefab (a tree, a statue, a bridge)./bm learn <file>Teach it a style from a schematic in your schematics folder./bm edit <change>Rework your last build in place — "taller", "add a tower", "in stone".Activating credits you bought
Paste the key from your purchase into the config and restart. There is nothing to type in-game, and it works with the jar you already have — no update needed.
On a server the key lives in the server's config, so it covers everyone playing there — it's a server licence, not a personal one. Keep it private: anyone who has it can spend your credits. Check what's left any time at /balance.
First build slow?
The build service scales to zero when idle, so the very first /bm after a lull can take a few extra seconds to wake up. After that it's quick — the live service status is shown at the bottom of every page.
